At Genus Care we love a challenge and we love a laugh so we try to combine the two things. We are incredibly proud of our long-standing (11 years +) partnership with Tŷ Hafan, one of the UK’s leading pediatric palliative care charities and somewhere that has a lot in common with us- children, Welsh, providing services to local children and families. Tŷ Hafan provides a lifeline to life-limited children and their families across Wales, offering comfort, care, and support when they need it most.
From gruelling physical feats like conquering Mount Toubkal in Morocco, Pen Y Fan ten times in a day, 100,000 steps in 24 hours, walking the Taff Trail (55 miles) in 24 hours, Welsh and National 3 Peak Challenges, to smaller (less daft) challenges with our children in our homes, our entire Genus Care family have pushed boundaries to make a difference. Together with our incredible supporters, we have raised over £85,000 to help ensure Tŷ Hafan can continue its essential, life-changing work. We’ve had a load of fun, cried a lot and built long lasting relationships doing these challenges and perhaps you’ll be part of the next one.
